My friend with the pumpgourd mound has inspired me to try and grow a pineapple from the top of a store bought one... I think ya all should give it a try too and see who's takes quickest... From what I hear, it's a toss of the coin if it's going to work or not but if it roots I guess it's pretty easy and in two years, a baby pineapple will srout from the top!!! :) Here is the site I got my growing info from...
